Being exinct
Complaining about modern technology is a bit senile for me but I have been feeling sad for how technology seemingly is going to destroy human creativity possibly forever. I do not know how a human writer can be relevant to anyone but himself, or how photographers can be celebrated in a time when photos can be generated from words and words generated from keywords. Or maybe this can be good. Art, of any kind should be personal. Practiced like an ancient discipline (which it definitely is) for no-one but the artist or to whomever she or he dedicates their art. Would that make the art more raw and original? I have always detested pop music, and the equivalents in other forms of art because they are a product of inbreeding of successful pieces in the past. But that strategy, not very much unlike inbreeding will eventually only result in retarded progeny. Maybe we are headed towards a saturation in the content industry and art can finally leave that stage where it never really be...
